Who is the dream team?  What did they do?  Why did I select them?  I’ll explain.

I have a long list of very talented people that I want  - more than anything to work with, and I’m putting it out here.  Since you’re here, there’s no need to keep my aspirations to myself.  Without further ado…

Lars Von Trier. Director.  Antichrist (2009) is some of the most beautiful audio-visual choreography I have ever, EVER seen. If you haven’t watched it, I highly reccommend you do.  Just… ah.  Watch it alone. At least the very first time, watch it alone.
Caveat emptor: This film is really quite dark, so be ready to be blown away.  It is quite sexy too so uh… don’t like, watch it with your parents. = Streaming on Netflix.

John Nettles.  Actor.  Midsommer Murders (BBC) is someone who I wish would stay on longer as DCI Barnaby in the sleepy county of Midsommer Causton where everyone seems to be killing each other.  Sadly, it’s his last season.  I’m hoping he’ll come stateside so that I can have my chance.  His attention is so completely steady.  The acting I could do caught up in the intensity of his gaze would surely stay with me for a lifetime.  Some actors, when we get the chance, just make us better.  They just do.

Jason Hughes.  Actor.  Midsommer Murders (BBC) is also in possession of my favorite Detective Sergeant, Ben Jones.  I find his manner of processing information charming and unpredictable.  Did I mention that he is nice to look at?  Pretend I didn’t.  The Midsommer Murders series is available for rental via Netflix.

Patrick Malahide. Actor.  Alleyn Mysteries (BBC) as Chief Inspector Alleyn caught my attention with his casual grace and held my attention with his unexpected intensity.  Alleyn Mysteries can be found on Netflix.  Several episodes are available to watch on demand via Netflix Instant Watch streaming video.  One episode, in particular, which I enjoyed is Death In a White Tie.  But you really can’t go wrong.  They’re all very, Very good. = Streaming on Netflix.

William Simons. Actor.  Alleyn Mysteries (BBC) as Inspector Fox he is a man of few words but swift action and sharpe thinking and watching this man, I can see the wheels turn.  He takes the concept of acting between the lines to a whole new level.  I never quite know what he’s going to do or how he’s going to do it.  I strive for that type of dangerous unpredictability in my work.  Despite the poker face, one never knows if he’s going to chuckle to himself or shoot a man dead in his face.  It’s a good thing he’s an actor and not a poker player; he’d have everybody’s money.   = Streaming on Netflix.
